About
Youth Committee – Archdiocese of Hanoi
“You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world” (Mt 5:13-14)

Who we are
Young people — the “now” of God
The Youth Committee of the Archdiocese of Hanoi walks with young Catholics in parishes, deaneries and communities of students and young workers living away from home, helping them grow in faith, stay close to the Church and commit to serving others.
This website shares youth activities from across the Archdiocese, synced automatically from the youth section of the official website tonggiaophanhanoi.org.

What the images mean
A reading of the logo’s symbols — not an official explanation.
The red cross
Christ’s self-giving love stands at the centre — every step young people take is directed towards Him.
Three young people, three colours
Blue, green and purple: young people of every kind — pupils, students, workers — reaching out together towards the Cross, the older helping the younger.
The green arcs
Two arcs of light and dark green, like the arms of the Church embracing young people — the colour of new life and hope.
The Word of God
“You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world” (Mt 5:13-14) — the identity and mission of young Catholics in society.
